LEVEL PRESSURE SENSOR - TLP

A submergible pressure sensor for accurate measurement of water level. The hydrostatic weight produce an over pressure (respect to the atmospheric pressure) and the transducer converts the pressure in an electrical signal corresponding to the water level.
The sensor is based on a silicon sensing element and a relevant electronics which includes a temperature compensation. Both are enclosed in a water proof titanium case. It is integrated with a special cable (shield and provided by a nylon vent tube for atmospheric pressure compensation) moulded to the sensor body for a water-tight connection.
The distance between the sensor and the data acquisition unit can be up to 1 km.
The sensor shall be submerged under the minimum water level foreseen, and agree the kind of water body to be measured.
The sensor can be fixed over vertical wall, slope walls or at river bed.
All sensors have a signal output 4÷20 mA.
